NDPC-SD Project Evaluation

Why and What To maintain our funding, NDPC-SD is evaluated by OSEP and we need your help in meeting their requirements! An annual survey to determine what specific steps have been taken by your school in implementing the NDPC-SD Framework and how far your school has come in the process This is not an evaluation of you or the school, but rather one of NDPC-SD’s efficacy

Level of Detail The survey asks for school name, but only so NDPC-SD can track changes over time within a school… It will not be used for school-by-school reporting or comparisons to other schools, and will not be reported to the Department of Education in a way that would allow identification of a particular school.

Who A survey of all school staff trained by NDPC-SD (your school team) to determine how far implementation has come in your school A random sample of 10% of everyone else in your school who has been trained about the project by your team (or at least 10 of these staff members)

Cohort 2 Schools If your school recently received training and is just getting started, you will probably not have positive responses to some of the questions about implementation. That’s OK! Having new schools answer the survey will let NDPC-SD get a baseline measurement of where everyone is starting.

The Details Electronic survey (via Survey Monkey) –4 pages long –Multiple choice –About 16 questions –No personally-identifiable information We need a 70% response rate –Responses due on November 16 –Then we need to do 2 follow-ups, one week apart (Nov. 23 rd and 30 th )

Option NDPC-SD could share a school’s data with that school’s principal, if they desire. Having the data would provide a mechanism to chart implementation within the school over time. If any schools desire this, they should contact Matt Klare at NDPC-SD (
