1. CENSUS PHASES Generally, the Census activities could be divided in four general phases: 1.1 Preparatory Phase 1.2 Phase of Field Conducting, respectivelly Data Colection Phase 1.3 Phase of data processing, assessment and analyze; 1.4 Data Dissemination Phase 1.4 Data Dissemination Phase.

1. 1. 1 PREPARATORY PHASE 1.1.1Providing of a quality training for all participants in the phase of the conducting of the Census on the field, working premises and conditions for work in the Regional Census Commissions Realised results:Successful and complete conducting of the Census on the field Updating of the statistical cadastre Realised results: Fast, efficient and undisturbed working of the participants in the phase of the Census conducting on the field.

1. 1 PREPARATORY PHASE Campaign for popularisation of the Census, 2002 Realised results: Completely, appropriate and continuos informing of the population for successfully conducting of the Census.

1.2.PHASE OF FIELD CONDUCTING, RESPECTIVELLY DATA COLECTION PHASE Expected results: Providing of complete coverage of the Census units and quality data for the features contained in the censuses questionnaires.Providing of complete coverage of the Census units and quality data for the features contained in the censuses questionnaires. 1.3 PHASE OF DATA PROCESSING, ASSESMENT AND ANALYSIS Expected results: Fast and confident processing, assessment and analyse of the data and publishing of the results Data processing (encoding and entering of the census data); Assessment and analysis of the data Publishing of the data the first results - the second half of January, the final results -successive till the end of June, 2004
