Ms. C’s Trip to Venice Summer 2007 Here are a few pictures that I took on my visit to Venice, Italy.

I went to Venice when I was in high school with my Latin teacher and classmates. Ciao! Welcome to Venice, Italy!

The Bell Tower Here is the Bell Tower in Piazza San Marco, or Saint Marc’s Square. This is where Olivia seemed to get in a lot of trouble…

How to travel in Venice… Either walking or taking a boat seems to be the easiest way to move around in this small island!

Elegant and elaborate gold is all you see inside the palace The palace is connected to the dungeon where they kept all of the prisoners. Doge’s Palace

What to do in Piazza San Marco… Eat! There are plenty of restaurants and vendors. Gelato is always a tourist favorite. Shop! This is the best place to buy a mask for Carnival! Take a break! If you have been walking for a while, Saint Marc’s Square is a great place to take a rest. Listen! There are always people playing instruments outside Doge’s Palace.

Leaving Venice… When you are leaving Venice, make sure you look back and look at the wonderful view! You won’t believe your eyes!
