Monotheistic Religions Are the belief in 1 God. These are all Monotheistic Religions.

Christianity Began in Palestine. In c. 50 BC. Belief was that Jesus was Messiah promised by Old Testament (Torah), trinity, Jesus of Nazareth Bible (Old/New Testament).

Judaism Began in Palestine, c. In BC. Rules Of Behavior = Ten Commandments, Code Of Conduct, Dietary Laws. Leaders = Moses, Solomon, David, Christ. Sacred Texts = Torah.

Islam Began in Arabia c. In 632 AD. Rules of Behavior = Laws usually based on religious practices, Jihad, 5 Pillars. Leaders = Muhammad. Sacred Texts = Koran (Qur'an).

5 Pillars Of Islam Shahada = Belief in 1 god "There is only 1 god, Allah, & Muhammad is his prophet.” Salat = Pray 5 x’s per day 2 Mecca. (usually in a group). Zakatalms = ($ donations) to the poor. Sawm Fast during month of Ramadan (about Sept Oct). Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca once during lifetime.
