Coach My Video By: Jef Fluevog

Incorrect Free Throw Technique

Incorrect Free-throw First mistake is that there was hardly any bend in the knees I used two hands to shoot the ball, instead of using my left hand as a guide for the ball Also used my right hand to push the ball There was zero follow through in my shot My right hand should have finished looking like I was sticking it in a cookie jar Also, I shot from the palm of my hand, instead of from the fingertips

Correct Free Throw

Correct Free-throw In this video you can see how I focused on the bending of the knees during the free throw I also made sure to not push the ball with two hands and focus on releasing the ball out of my right hand, instead of both You can also see that I held the release in this free-throw and my right hand looked like it was in the cookie jar You can see how the ball came off the finger tips in the shot and not from the palm of the hand The flick of the wrist is very important and you can see this used compared to the incorrect form
