#2 – Emergency Preparedness Planning New FPT approach to industry involvement in emergency planning New network committee to be formed in May Coalition will need to determine if it wants to continue to co-chair this committee

#3 – National Strategy Validation survey concluded on February 24 th. Final strategy and project reports due by March 31 st Coalition identified by participants as lead in some areas Directors & Members will need to review outcomes & set priorities – prior to summer 2009

#4 – Government Relations Regularize relations with new FPT Food Safety Committee Continue to foster good contacts at CFIA, Health Canada & AAFC on the food safety files Strengthen relations with provinces/ territories
