4 REGULATIONS  HOW DO YOU ENFORCE REGULATIONS MEANT TO REDUCE RISK? Current regulations do not cover risk reduction but instead focus on historical, cultural, environmental, and infrastructure concerns.  DO YOUR MEMBERS UNDERSTAND THE REGULATIONS? DO THEY CHALLENGE THEM? Most community members are unaware of local regulations and no effective enforcement of regulations.  WHAT SUPPORT CAN FEMA PROVIDE TO ASSIST YOUR REGULATORY PROCESSES? Educate local leaders and community members on the importance of risk reduction.
