The GNSO’s CR working week Renewed focus on making the GNSO weekend real work sessions. 9 sessions and a working lunch on Saturday including substantial discussion on Outreach. 7 sessions on Sunday including joint discussions with the Board and the GAC. Joint session with the ccNSO on Monday Stakeholder/constituency meetings on Tuesday Public Council meeting on Wednesday & follow-up on Thursday

Accomplishments 1.PDP launched on consideration of thick Whois for gTLDs 2.Charter approved for work on locking of domain name subject to UDRP proceedings. 3.Cross community working group principles approved. An initiative that the GNSO intends to share with the rest of the community.

Ongoing Progress Working Groups and ongoing projects: – WHOIS service requirements (WG targeting October 2012 to complete final report) – DT on Cross community Working Groups (recommendations approved at this meeting) – WG on Metrics for Competition, Consumer Trust and Consumer Choice (WG has established definitions, a set of measures and 3 year targets for Compt, Cons Trust and Cons Choice. Comment period open on final version of advice letter.) – DT on Outreach Task Force (discussions ongoing)

Ongoing Progress Working Groups and ongoing projects: – IRTP-C WG (work ongoing) – DT on Fake Renewal Notices (final report presented to Council) – DT on protection of RC/IOC names (special meeting planned on March 26 to consider this issue) – RAA (Staff published issue report just before CR meeting)
