Once there was a miller who was poor, who had a beautiful daughter. He told the king that she could spin straw into gold to seem more important.
The king said to bring her to his castle to show him.
He locked her in a room full of straw and said to her that if she did not spin it all into gold by morning he would have her dead. He locked her in there and she started to cry.
A little man came in and told her that he could spin all the straw into gold but for a price. She gave him her necklace and he spun all that straw into gold.
The king than put her in another bigger room the next day and said for her to do it again. She started crying gain.
Again the little man came in and said he could do it for a price. She gave him her ring and he spun all of that straw into gold. The king was astonished and put her in a bigger room the next night. And said if she did it he will make her his wife.
This time when the little man came she had nothing to give to him. So he said that if she gives him her first born child he will do it. So she agreed and he spun all that straw into gold.
She became the kings wife and after a year they had a kid and the little man came to take it away from her. She begged him for him to let her keep the baby and he will give her all the riches in the kingdom. But he said only if she guesses his name will he let her keep the baby.
So the queen set out to figure out his name. he got all the men to try and figure out new names. She tried everything. Than one day a man came and said he heard a little man dancing around a fire up in the hills.
He said he heard him say to-day I bake, to-morrow brew, the next I'll have the young queen's child. Ha, glad am I that no one knew that Rumpelstiltskin I am styled. So this man told this to the queen. Than the next day when the little man came back she guessed a couple of names than guessed Rumpelstiltskin.
After The queen guessed Rumpelstiltskin’s name he got so mad that he ran away and was never seen again.
