Consulting LAB Anticipating, sustaining and monitoring the change is an highly demanding activity for the whole organization

Consulting LAB aims at supporting those realities that decide to engage in a change process, as the introduction of Tablet PCs in schools

SERVICES Consulting LAB provides consultancy on the whole innovation process by enacting services in support of: - People, through communication, training and active involvement actions; - Technologies, by designing technical solutions tailored for schools and vocational training institutions; - Processes, by accompanying technical and administrative resources in the integration of new systems and by supporting teachers in the application of new Tablet-based methodological approaches

INTERVENTION MODEL Taking cues from Deming Cycle (PDCA: plan–do–check–act), Consulting LAB identifyied an intervention model which act, at different level, on organizational sub-system interested in change: Feasibility: project feasibility study to be developed through research activities, risks and impact analisys on schools/VET institutions, involvement of decision makers, state of the art analysis, econmic- financial sustainability assessment; Design: macro and micro design of all activities, from the realization of the technological infrastructure to the setting of the new tablet-based didactical approach and the training of the major actors involved (managers, school staff, teachers, families) Implementation: intervention implementation in all its components, by enacting the designed systems and testing the new didactical applications and the new work flows Evaluation: monitoring and evaluation of results, taking into account a series of specific indicators related to each sector

FEASIBILITY Research Strategy Decisor Makers involvement First level assessment DESIGN Budget development Planning Communications families/staff Teachers / school staff training Infrastructure desing HW/SW Work flows design Didactic programmes adaptation Suppliers involvement IMPLEMENTATION Infrastructure realization Tablet PCs supply New working methods test Didactic supply Families involvement / training Technical suppprt service EVALUATION Performance indicators definition Monitoring process definition Monitoring tools definition Performances analisys Satisfaction analysis Infrastructures functioning analisys and benchmarking

INTERVENTION MODEL The model developed by Camporlecchio Educational is highly modular. Directly or with the support of Consulting LAB experts, the model is able to: Provide consultancy, support and assistence for every activities Act «orizontally» on each phase Act «vertically» on each subsystem Implement single activities at the intersection of subsystems and phases Consulting LAB has been able to develop the model by testing the activities on the field, in school and training institution directly managed, and by building experience-based competences which can be shared with other school and training institutions willing to face the ambitious challenge of change
