Thanks!! Time to Get RID of your trash!!! LOTH West POA News – Dec 2015 Annual Elections for BOD – Saturday 16 January 1:00PM at the Clubhouse Want to Run for the BOD? Give us your name and we will add it to the Proxy. Members who have volunteered to run so far are for the following offices: President: Bob Sense VPs: Kurt McWhorter and KC Caulder Treasurer’s: Sarah McDaniel and Pam Sense Secretary: Joe Owens Christmas Party Was held at the Clubhouse on Sunday December 13 2:00 PM. We had a cookie contest, ugly sweater contest and a few surprises from SantaSpecial thank you’s go out to Santa Joe Owens. As he always does. he helped make the kids happy just as he did when he dressed up as our Easter Bunny earlier this year. Also want to THANK Pam Sense for getting the door prizes donated, picking up supplies, cleaning, cooking and organizing the entire even. No plans or dates for work have been finalized for future re-markings. Mowing/Weed Eating for Next Year If you know of anyone who is reliable, trustworthy and interested in our business to cut the small park and clubhouse areas, please have them contact us so we can get a price quote. We currently have one company who is very interested Start of a New Road Plan We are developing a road repair/prioritization plan. Keep in mind we have few funds to do much so our plan is to tackle this in small chunks year by year. Some roads will need chip seal, some grading and some recovered with hot asphalt. We hope to have this finalized so it can be handed of to the next elected BoD Funds for Road Repairs POA: $ 16,605 Resident Donations: $ 20,800 Future Planning Ideas We have been working on donations for the playground How about us doing a self-help project to build a small concrete basketball court at the small park Trimming trees in the big park Demolishing and removing the old bathrooms in the big park Trimming/shredding trees along our roads We are still working and hope to get a LOTH POA Tax Exempt number…Will save us money Road repair plan for 2016 and beyond Finalize plans with TxDot for remarking front entrance to make it safer for those entering LOTH Give us your ideas and PLEASE help with future work!!
