Presentation transcript:

 Every functioning group will encounter issues that must be dealt with. We will explore these issues showing how our group avoids conflict with: › open lines of communication › embracing diversity › balancing our core dynamics

 Our team has many commonalities betweens us: › The majority of us like to voice our opinion. › Most of the team members prefer schedules and timelines.

 Our team also has a few differences within our personalities: › Our thinkers of the group come to decisions by what seems logical while our feelers come to decisions by empathizing with the situation. › Our sensors like to trust information that is tangible while our intuitives tend to trust information that they can relate to.

 We have four extraverts and one Introvert.  The extraverts talk it all out, and then we can let the introvert think it over and come back with his input.

 We divide out with the same ratios on the other end of the MBTI scale with four Judgers and one Perceiver.  Four to make sure things get done in a very and orderly fashion, and the lone perceiver to try to lighten things

 Part of our very strong balance.  Two sensors, one strong Intuitive and two that score very close to the middle.  The ability to see both the concrete and overall view of the situations we face.

 We have a very close balance on the Thinking & Feeling scale also.  Comprised of two strong thinkers and three feelers.  We have a strong input from both to help us make decisions that are both practical and logical, but also compassionate.

 Different dynamics coexisting in a group setting.  In the teams strengths, weaknesses, and dominate personality types challenge can manifest.  Challenge doesn’t have to be a negative.  Moving through a challenge in a positive manner can foster team growth and trust.  Challenge can improve group participation and communication.

 Too Many Extroverts : Talk over each other and confusion follows.  Organization and Scheduling: Judging personalities consider structure and scheduling important parts of any team environment.
