An Overview Of The MBP CM Leadership Manual Presented by: Robert J. Carter, CCM Robert M. Pfeiffer, CCM

Today’s Agenda HISTORY PURPOSE CONTENT 2

History This project has been ongoing for the past two years. Developed by: –Experts within their field, offered text –Consultant hired to organize and format the document –Returned to MBP for final comments and reviews. 3

Purpose of the Manual This manual has been created to assist you in your role as a CM for MBP. The manual is divided in to 8 main sections with each section providing insight in to the role and responsibilities of the MBP-CM in regards to project and client accountability. This is NOT a training manual and will not tell you how to execute your role; instead it provides general guidance in terms of what you are responsible for, on a project site, and how to provide those services in a consistent “MBP way.” Before this manual can assist you…You should be familiar with the scope of work which MBP will be responsible for providing to the Owner. In order to fulfill this obligation / responsibility be sure to review the contract between MBP and the client. 4

Living Document This is a work in progress This manual is intended to provide you with a resource in the event that your client/project lacks a document control program. During today’s presentation we will highlight what is available This document is not intended to duplicate that which your client may already be using; it is here to fill your site specific needs. 5
