The Panafrican Programme Overview - Financed under the Development Cooperation Instrument (DCI) - Tool to implement the Joint Africa Europe Strategy through a Multi- Annual Indicative Programme (MIP) Objective: development of safe, efficient and sustainable continental and inter-regional infrastructure networks - 4 sectors targeted: transport, energy, water and ICT

Key features - Implementation through blending could fund: projects with continental coverage 2.2 -projects linking networks at inter-regional level - Priorities identified in consultation with the Reference Group (African Union Commission, European Commission, RECs, EU Member States) - Envisaged amount available (2014 to 2017): EUR 85M The Panafrican Programme Blending envelope
