Resources for Education and Action for Community Health in Ambler

Pilot studies: CEET, RWJ  Uncertainty breeds fear, confusion, misinformation  What is the risk?  How do we talk about risk?  Porous boundaries around the problem  Where is the risk?  What happens when asbestos hits the air, water or soil?  Individual health vs. community identity  Competing visions for the future

Program goals  Engage stakeholders in the development of a repository of information about the asbestos story in South and West Ambler  What has it been like to live in this community?  What is known about asbestos and risk for asbestos related disease?  What do we need to learn?
