Bell Ringer 5 Minutes  How do I se knowledge about my personal attitudes, interests and skills to be more successful?

AIM  Craft positive talk that promotes a winning perspective  Visualize oneself possessing the skills, attitudes and behaviors to be one’s personal superhero.

CHAMPS  C=conversation, you may speak during class share out and when directed to speak with your peers *REMINDER WE PRACTICE RESPECT!  H=help, please raise your hand  A=activity, you are sharing out and responding to the text.  M=movement we are not, all supplies will be given to you  P=participation, you are listening and responding to your peers, NO heads down, cell phones and/or eating

Superpowers 10 minutes  Review of yesterday’s posters  Read Directions for Superpowers  As a cooperative learning group record your answers  Choose a team member to share out

Be Your Own Superhero 10 minutes  Your superhero needs to embody positive meta cognition VillainSuperhero *self destructive thoughts*How could your superhero save you?

My Own Superhero 15minutes  Task: TO draw what your inner power looks like and describe its special qualities  Read “My Superhero”

Circle 10 Minutes  Share out your strength and how you will fight your inner villain when it begins to creep into your head.
