brief introduction of napoleon Bonaparet  Napoleon Bonaparte (15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821) was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the latter stages of the French Revolution and its associated wars in Europe. 

when did the napoleon Bonaparet rule?  From 10 November 1799 until 18 June 1815 with the exception of the Time Out that he was given on the Island of Elba

h0w &when did the napoleon's rule end?  In 1814 the French armies were defeated by the combined armies of the Sixth Coalition (which consisted of Russia, Prussia, Austria, Sweden, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Sicily, Sardinia, Saxony, Bavaria, and Wurttemburg) he was forced to abdicate and was exiled to the Island of Elba (then in Tuscany, now part of Italy) After living on Elba for 10 months he escaped and returned to France where he deposed the new French republic and resumed the position of Emperor. This was considered to be an act of war by the Coalition countries, and the United Kingdom, Russia, Austria and Prussia again declared war. Napoleon was defeated in battle at Waterloo (now in Belgium) on April 18, 1815 and forced to surrender his army and abdicate again as Emperor of France, he was then exiled to St. Helena in the South Atlantic where he died on May 5, 1821.

what were their accomplishment as well as filures  Acomplishment:: He galvanized the French people into a well functioning government and system from the chaos & anarchy that was occurring immediately after the French Revolution. He was a military genius and was able to pull off some stunning military victories before his final, mind numbingly stupid tactics at the Battle of Waterloo. The opposing general would often say that Napoleon's ability to whip up the enthusiasm of his troops just before battle was worth 60,000 additional soldiers. His expedition into Egypt led to the discovery of the famous Rosetta Stone which now is displayed at the British Museum. It unlocked the language of the ancient Egyptians leading to most we presently know about ancient Egypt. His rewriting of the laws of France led to the Napoleonic Code of laws which was then copied by dozens of other countries in Europe & elsewhere (including the state of Louisiana), and remnants of this legal system still remain today because it was so well organized, fair, just, and comprehensive

 Failure :  *He was the main reason for chaos in Europe. * He destroyed democratic institutions in France, and betrayed the people who supported him all over Europe because he convinced them he believed in democracy. * He directed science toward history, archeology, and above all; military technology rather than agriculture, medicine, and manufacturing. * He was never elected to any office. He was simply a usurper of power. He never had any legitimacy. * His unnecessary wars so damaged the French economy that the French nearly starved in 

 Thank you
