Introduction  Chinese New Year is very important to the Chinese people. It is 15 days long and very important. It is actually the longest and most important holiday on the Chinese calendar. Here is some information about the Chinese New Year.

Traditional celebrations  During the Chinese New Year celebrations and parades there are also lots of traditions some of them are…  Spring cleanings, feasts, fire works, and family gatherings. People dress in nice clothes, traditional cakes are distributed among family members, fruits, candies, and ornamental packages of tea are given to friends as gifts, and fire crackers are set off to ward off evil spirits.
