African Bullfrogs By Emme

What Color are African Bullfrogs? African bullfrogs are dull green. Male throats are yellow and female throats are cream-colored.

How Long are African Bullfrogs? Male African bullfrogs can get to 9.5 in. long and female can get to 4.45 in. long.

What do African Bullfrogs Eat? African bullfrogs eat insects, small fish, reptiles, amphibians, small rodents, and small birds. They even eat lizards and other frogs. They will eat anything it can fit into its mouth.

What is the African Bullfrog’s Habitat? African bullfrogs live in dry savanna, moist savanna, dry shrubland, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, canals and ditches, arable land, and pastureland.

How Many Eggs do African Bullfrogs Lay? African bullfrogs lay about three - four thousand eggs in shallow water. The eggs hatch about two days later.

How do African Bullfrogs Behave? African bullfrogs are very aggressive. Male bullfrogs defend their eggs when humans or animals approach.
