2 Activities to date Latvia NRN Meeting (May 2015): examples of NRN self-assessment approaches/ intervention logic. More information: ENRD Network self-assessment Workshop (Oct 2015): Focus on assessing network results – available tools and methods Finalisation of common network statistics (by Dec 2015): Common network indicators to be collected by the ENRD CP through NSUs Develop specific tools for assessing results (ongoing): practical tools to be uploaded onto the toolkit

3 Next Steps: Common Network Statistics … Purpose: Gain overview of networking activities across the EU – benchmarking Timing: Final comments expected now! - Collection for all 7 years – starts Jan 2016 Use of info: ENRD publication planned on the ‘added value of networking’: statistics & case studies Helps NRNs to collect mandatory evaluation output indicators

4 Next steps: Self-assessment toolkit Ongoing support for NRNs on self-assessment Sharing of experience: practical self-assessment tools, especially with focus on results

5 NRN evaluation & NRN self-assessment Cooperation between ENRD CP & Evaluation HD (e.g. comments on NRN Evaluation Guidelines within Sounding Board) Promotion of the role of NRNs in RDP evaluation: NRN self-assessment to feed into NRN evaluation NRNs can contribute to RDP evaluation (link to stakeholders) NRNs’ role is to disseminate evaluation results
