NORTHWEST TRIBES  Tribes that lived on the Pacific Coast from Alaska to California.

DUGOUTS  Canoes made from hollowed out logs.

BARTER  Trading goods for goods.

POTLATCH  A special ceremony of dancing and feasting in which the host gives out gifts to the guest.

TOTEM POLES  Beautiful carvings that were not worshipped. They told a history of a family.
