A Corridor to the Future Approaching Carbon Sequestration Investments from an Ecologically Sound Perspective Brokered by: S. Madigan Freedman Diana M. Pietri

Our Field of Dreams – Pontal do Paranapamena

The Odd Couple : Plot 6 and Plot 16 Plot 6 – The Stats -94.6% prime pasture land -3% of regenerative forest -2.3% of accessible water facilities hectares of land total Plot 16 – The Stats -75% prime pasture land. -3.1% of regenerative forest -18.5% of prime Atlantic Forest -3.4% of accessible water facilities hectares of land total

What WE Can Do For YOU In recent years, carbon sequestration has become a vital capital investment for both industry and the environment. Pasture land that is converted into new forest will sequester the largest amounts of carbon per hectare. Mature forest, though still an important carbon sink, is most importantly a preserve for indigenous wildlife and plant species. Our land contains a combination of prime pasture, mature forest, regenerative forest, and accessible water ways. Collectively, these elements will acquire economic capital while creating a sustainable wildlife corridor. In economic terms, that means that 7.6 tons of carbon per hectare will be sequestered over a 40 year period. This is our commitment to you.

When Two are Better Than One Plot 6 Plot 16 Combined Benefits

The Numbers Speak for Themselves

The Time is Now Unfortunately, judging by current trends, these forests may not live to see the dawning of the new year. Our analysts have assessed a 100% risk in forested areas of Plots 6 & 16. If purchased today, these forested areas will serve the region as stepping stones for regeneration. Most importantly, the reforested pasture lands will sequester increasing levels of sustainable carbon for generations to come.

Our Neck of the Woods The Pontal do Paranapanema is situated in the Atlantic Forest, and contains numerous ecological reserves, protected by the Brazilian government. These reserves serve the region well as primary carbon sinks. In years to come, the converted pasture lands will integrate with the reserves, providing investors with additional carbon sequestration potential.
