What was the last thing you did to express your sexuality?

SEX - is the biological aspect of sexuality -whether a person is female or male -also refers to physical activity for reproduction and pleasure

SEXUALITY - includes the emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects of sex -refers to the total experience of being male or female - a person’s actions, thoughts, feelings, prayers, ways of relating to others, ways of experiencing the world, as well as physical appearance

NOW… What was the last thing you did to express your sexuality? Is your answer the same?

Sexuality is NOT limited to our body parts or what we do with those parts Sexuality should be seen as a powerful and beautiful force that is shaping who we are now and what we are becoming

Where Do You Stand? By stereotyping one another, we are really trying to lock others in a box and impose our expectations on them Locking people into our expectations and ideas about who they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to do denies the wholeness, beauty, and uniqueness of each person God created. WHY DO WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES & OTHERS?

The Gender Spectrum All people possess both feminine and masculine characteristics How these traits are combined varies from person to person - that is why each of us is unique Ex: there are varying degrees of being “affectionate.” For some being affectionate can mean just a pat on the back and for others it can mean a hug and a kiss
