being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ

David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,

I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.

Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”

Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

There is none who does good, no, not one.

He who does good is of God

…our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

So the LORD saved Israel that day

it may be that the LORD will work for us. For nothing restrains the LORD from saving by many or by few.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
