Presentation transcript:

 Today I will talk about the technologies that we learned this semester in our Technology class and I will provide some benefits of using them during our daily work.

 In the past the only technology tool I knew was Power Point, for interactive presentations.

 Educational Technology is the effective use of technological tools in learning.

 Now after taking the course, we learned how to work with new programs so we don’t have to be using power point all the time.

 PowToon is Web-based animation software that allows users to create animated presentations.

 Actually at the beginning it was kind of difficult to use this programs for the reason that there where so many new tools different than Power Point. All the work needed to have a sequence.

 Emaze is an online presentation platform. Users can create, manage, and share presentations.

 We learned also how to use Excel and its different tools and formulas.

 By using all this new programs the student wont be tired of seeing the same thing over and over.  Makes class more interactive which means that the student will be more focused on the work and he will assimilate information faster.

 Something this course helped me with was the fact that I have never been good at animation presentations and this PowToon program makes it more simple than all the other programs around there.

 On a personal experience PowToon and Emaze where very helpful tools that made me understand more easily the material covered in class. Definitely will use this technologies in the future.

 1. Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity: This was the main thing used during the course for the reason that PowToon is an animated software that helps to understand faster and make it fun at the same time. Use of creativity is involved.

 2. Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments: After the first day, our learning skills got way better and looked more professional; big difference could be noticed from recent work to the work I had done before.

 With the help of this technologies the student will be able to perform at their best because school just turned into something interactive.
