This is a simple advert made to target the teenage urban market. They have achieved this buy using a young model with a dirty city looking wall backdrop. The slogan “hand fitted to fit your life” means no matter what walk of life u are from you will be able to where the hat’s. He is wearing his hat of to the side this is in keeping with the urban theme as that is a popular way that teenagers where it, showing they have well researched there target audience.

Technical Restrictions. The standard of my advert can not be as high as the original as I am not a professional there for I do not have the same expensive equipment and money. To get around this I am going to keep my advert simple but affective, I am going to use bright colours and a catchy slogan to catch the readers eyes.

This is a fake new era hat. There are thousands around and easy to get hold of. They are the biggest competition for new era as some people buy them not knowing they are the genuine product This is another similar product it is made by ed hardy, unlike new era caps you can only buy one size and there are not as many different styles and designs.
