WHERE DID THEY LIVE?  Southeastern Alabama

FOOD/HUNTING Cherokee Indians grew corn, beans, and squash and hunted deer, bears,and elk

GOVERMENT  Formed a government based on that of the United States. There was a separation of power and duties within the government of the Cherokees into two groups a civil or peace organazartionn and a military or war organation

RELIGION Religion are to complicated and curturally sensitive to describe appropriatly in only a few simple sentences

RITUALS/CEREMONIES  In August came the green corn ceremony. The towns were protected from enemies by stockade like structures. The six main festivals held by the chief each year were the first moon of spring
