Solar Power By: Megan Warren & Joshua Wrede

Pros Solar power can be good and bad. Some good things are it costing less, being eco- friendly, and using power is increasing in price and the solar panels uses the sun, not energy.

Cons Some bad parts of solar power are that it is more expensive to have put in. It is only good during the day because of the sun. It takes a while for the panels to heat up, and they need the heat to work.

Source Of Alternative Energy “The SUN”

How It Works Solar Energy Video Solar Energy Video Solar energy technologies use the energy that comes from the sun inside the sun, hydrogen atoms combine to make helium, and the process produces the extreme amount of heat that is felt on Earth. The sun has a temperature of 36,000,000°F

The Extras  Scientist have discovered that the fur and the skin of polar bears are very effective at converting sunshine into heat energy.  By 2001 Japan was able to produce up to 671 megawatts(mW) of solar generated power at peak conditions.  With more than 800 million cars on the world’s road, there is great intrest in finding an alternative, sustainable, and clean source of energy to power them.
