Hide And Seek by Ida Vos The Underground Resistance Propaganda Hiding Deportation Anti-Jewish Policy Exposition Rising Action Climax Falling Action Resolution Bibliography

The Underground Home The underground was when people went around the laws to transport Jews and other minorities. This is in our book because Rachel and her family do many things bypassing the German laws like when they went into hiding and changed everything about them.

Resistance Home Resistance is an act to oppose a motion. This is shown in the book Hide and Seek when Rachel and her family go into hiding and take of their stars and start doing all the things they’re not supposed to do because of the German laws.

Propaganda Home Propaganda is information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, institution, etc. Propaganda is shown in hide and seek quite a few times, one of witch is when the Germans hung a picture called the Eternal Jew.

Hiding Home Hiding was important in Hide and seek like when Rachel and her family went into hiding and removed the stars from their clothing. More Information

Deportation Home Deportation is when a certain ethnic group is removed from an area. Deportation is shown in Hide and Seek when the nazis are trying to get rid of all the Jews in Holland.

Anti-Jewish Policy Home The Anti-Jewish Policy is a list of laws stating what the Jews could not do. This is shown in Hide and Seek when the Germans kept posting the laws in the news papers and taking away every thing that the Jews needed to have a decent life. Some Of The Laws

Exposition Home The book Hide and Seek takes place in Holland in The main character in the book Hide and Seek is Rachel Hartog. The Book Hide and Seek is about a Jewish girl and her family surviving during the Holocaust

Rising Action Home The Rising Action is when Rachel and her family go into hiding.

Climax Home Rachel goes to ant Anne's house and then her family comes shortly after.

Falling Action Home Rachel and her family are separated again and then they end up meeting again at deferent houses and then that night that Rachel's family comes to see Rachel and Esther again and on that night there uncle jaap was listening to the radio and he heard that the nazis capitulated.

Resolution Home Rachel and her family buy a house and move in and from then on they had a very good life.
