Essential Questions  What does literature teach us about the human condition?  What is right behavior, and what is wrong behavior?  What drives the choices we make?  What gives meaning and dignity to our lives?

Objectives  Interpret literature through discussion and oral presentation  Analyze how a poet’s techniques convey meaning, purpose, and effect

Daily Warm-up  Explain the dynamics among Claudius, Gertrude, and Hamlet as portrayed on pages  How does Hamlet feel?  What is the cause?  What do the others believe the cause to be?
