SWAT’S FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2014 UNITED STATES HISTORY II HONORS THE GREAT TRIALS MR. PETERSON

THE GREAT TRIALS SWAT: The students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which to settle disputes other than a trial and to explain the trial process by reviewing for a unit test

THE GREAT TRIALS APPLICATION: Working in small groups, students will begin reviewing for their unit test. To aid them in their study, students should complete the review sheet. Review sheet on website and attached to lesson plans.

THE GREAT TRIALS HOMEWORK: Finish reviewing for test on Friday, September 19 th.

AP US HISTORY PERIOD 4 and 5: AP US HISTORY SWAT: The students will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the key political, economic and religious systems of Native Americans, Europeans and Africans and how cultural diffusion and assimilation became key variables to the development of these peoples and how culture and civilization were heavily impacted by these variables by reviewing for a unit test

AP US HISTORY APPLICATION: Working individually, students should continue work on pre-writing the essay section of their unit test of Chapter #1. They may use their books. Students should work through the Review questions at the end of Chapter #1 writing out responses to each of the questions in preparation for their unit test to be given during the double period class on Thursday. Instruct students that those who want more of a review with parental consent, may stay. I should be back at school by 3:30 p.m. and can stay until 4:30 p.m. I must have a note from the parent granting permission to their child in regards to this request.

AP US HISTORY Homework: Students should continue reviewing for their unit test.

US HISTORY II HONORS SWAT: After reading about the Great Depression, the students will be able to identify and describe the causes of World War II by listing at least three causes of World War II with 80% accuracy.

US HISTORY II HONORS APPLICATION: Working individually, students should read Chapter #34: “The Origins of World War II,” pp and outline the chapter in their notebook.

US HISTORY II HONORS Homework: Students should continue outlining Chapter #34 in their textbook.
