POVERTY, INJUSTICE AND THE FUTURE CHURCH

The issue is not poverty but poverty in close proximity of affluence

We live in a very poor world with small pockets of incredible affluence. In order for the church to develop a ministry to the WORLD we will need to develop a ministry that is applicable to the POOR

The future church is all about rediscovering the original church

Future World Poor uneducated world Diverse world full of conflict Highly populated world Scarcity of resources A world longing for HOPE

A new understanding The psyche of the poor The value of poor people The needs of poor people

IMPERATIVES REAL engagement relationships RELEVANT theological training RAW ministry EMPOWERING the poor to minister to the poor
