I think they are where they are because they both are smaller developed countries. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Madagascar and India are developing countries. In order to get at the top of the rankings, they need to clean up their area and get money. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Singapore stands out to me because it’s a small country and has a lot of doctors. The country has some wealth but doesn’t have much of a impact on world consumption.

The United Kingdom which is developed and India which is developing. The UK is the 5 th ranking because a lot of adults don’t use the internet and then don’t pass it on to their kids. I think that Canada has the largest GDP because it’s a big country and people travel there a lot. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Madagascar has the lowest GDP. This is because it’s a small country and not very many people have cars. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Germany is the 6 th because its population is growing. The UK is 5 th because they are a smaller developed country. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries?
