Clean Shipping Award sponsored by ABS The introduction of new, or significant improvements of existing technology which will support the objective of Clean Shipping. Innovation in Ship Operations An innovative project which has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency of any aspect of ship operations and/or cargo handling. Lifetime Achievement Award 2011* This award is to honour an individual who has made a significant and lasting contribution to shipping and the maritime industry. Seatrade Personality 2011* Awarded to an individual who has made a major contribution to the shipping industry in any field. Young Person in Shipping 2011* Presented to an individual under 40 who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry. Global Performer 2011* Awarded to a company or organisation that has made a major contribution to the shipping industry in any field.
