Studies launched in 2014 State of play and methodological approaches Peter Berkowitz EGESIF - 17 December 2014

5 studies launched in main objectives:  Analyse the integration of the new elements of the reformed cohesion policy in the programming phase => a first set of 4 studies (EAC, performance framework, "new provisions", partnership principle)  Assess the impacts and effects of the thresholds and limits introduced in the CPR (simplification) => a fifth study setting up a database to assess impacts and effects of CPR thresholds and limits

Planning and state of play 6

Methodological approach – involvement of managing authorities and actors at national/regional levels  Desk reviews complemented by web-based surveys to all Managing Authorities + structured interviews of key actors at national/regional levels (4 studies on programming)  Collecting data on operations from MAs (study on "thresholds and limits") 7 Ensure a high response rate - by coordinating contacts with MA - by best targeting contacts at national/regional levels

Coordination of contacts  Letter of introduction  Coordinated planning of targeted surveys and interviews  Targeted contact points 8 Raise awareness in Member States and regions about importance of these studies

Planning of contacts 9

Establishment of contact list For each programme (incl. ETC and multifund)  General contact (interface for all the studies)  Specific contacts for each of the studies on programming 10 Contact point tables available on CIRCABC > EGESIF > Library > Studies Contact Points Tables to be completed and sent to by 16 January 2015

We count on your cooperation !
