THE LINK Program of Study Templates provide the foundation for the student’s Personal Plan of Study

An individual planning system is in place (which includes the necessary forms and procedures) that assists all students as they develop educational and career plans. This planning is initiated no later than 7 th grade and includes: assessment activities advisement activities identification of long- and short-range educational/career goals including a 4-6 year plan that is reviewed and revised annually. collaboration with parents/guardians.

House Bill 1613 – Remediation Prevention Requires school districts to develop a system for identifying students who are at risk of not being ready for college-level work or entry-level career positions Each student prior to his or her ninth grade year at a public school, including a charter school, may develop with help from the school's guidance counselors a personal plan of study, which shall be reviewed at least annually by school personnel and the student's parent or guardian and updated based upon the needs of the student.
