THE SOCIETY This society works under the umbrella of NSS. It aims at stress management. Entire college is considered as the member of the society. It lays emphasis on conducting all those activities which are helpful for the reduction of stress in today’s hectic scenario.

HIGLIGHTS OF THE SOCIETY TILL DATE

HAWAN CEREMONY In the commencement of every session the society conducts the HAWAN ceremony to seek the blessings of the almighty, in which the entire staff and students actively participate marking the beginning of a new session.

THE RIEKI SESSION DURING NSS CAMP A Reiki healing session was conducted by Mrs. Harbir K.Singh, Reiki Grand Master. In that session Reiki was performed on a volunteer and various tips regarding Reiki were shared amongst the volunteers followed by an exercise session.

A TALK ON STRESS MANAGEMENT A talk on Stress management was organized in the college. Sister Lalita of Prajapati Brahmkumaris’was the guest speaker on the occasion. She highlighted the various aspects of stress like its causes, effects and the remedial measures which one can adopt to be stress free. Later Sister Lalita gave some useful yoga tips to the students which can make them stress free.

AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS During the NSS camp “ THE SECRET ” movie was shown to the students in order to inspire them. This movie indeed had a positive impact on the students as they were able to learn various motivating things. The movie was a actually a learning experience which helped every individual to develop a positive outlook towards life.

SEMINAR Our society conducted a seminar in collaboration with the BRAHAMKUMARIS. In this seminar Sister Sarika of Prajapati Brahamkumaris’ delivered a lecture on stress management. She also answered questions of the students related to stress. She explained certain ways which can act as de stressors, in this hectic scenario.

A CASE STUDY A student of our college SACHIN, who was actually under stress due to regular failures was properly counselled by the society. In which it was concluded that the parents also play an active role in the overall development of the student. As a result, now Sachin has improved to a great extend in his academics and in his personal life too. Thus the society effectively works for the betterment of its members.

STRENGTHS The biggest strength of this society is the unity amongst its members. The special bond between the teachers and students adding cherry on the top. Both the students and the teachers actively work for the society. They all are always ready to extend a helping hand to each other.
