Presentation transcript:

By: Jake Back

 Steroid use can cause serious acne, rashes, and rubs.  You do not want this on you because its everything but attractive, not only for the opposite sex, but also everyone without a seeing eye dog and cane.

 Taking steroids will make you scary looking.

 In some sports steroid use is a very big advantage.

 Steroid pills are addictive and can cause life threatening symptoms.

 This downward spiral from use to abuse is very clear.  People can tell even when you use, when you abuse, it gets even worse.

 Shrinking of testicles.  Acne.  Severe rashes.  Exploding of muscles.

 Roids  Juice  Swell

 There is such thing as being to muscular.  Having muscles is great, but when you overdue it, or take your bodybuilding to an extreme, things become dangerous and very unhealthy.

 1.3 percent of 8 th and 10 th graders have tested steroids.  Only 2.2 percent of 12 th graders have experimented with anabolic steroids.

 Baldness.  Development of breast (for males).  Increased risk of prostate cancer.

 The percentages of women who use steroids are almost mirror images to men's percentages.

 Growth of facial hair.  Male pattern baldness.  Changes in the menstrual cycle.  Really deep voice.

 In some cases yes, it is very rare, but possible.  When steroids enter the body, they go to different muscles and organs, including the heart.  Steroids are not friendly with the heart at all.

 Steroids are addictive to some users.  Like marijuana, steroids become “depended on”, which is the same thing as addictive.  They also cause you to be depressed, you think you need to take your pills to feel good about yourself and look good.

 No one should ever take steroids of any kind unless doctor prescribed.  Steroids are dangerous for your health.  No good things come out of them and it doesn’t even look good to bulk up.

Thank you for listening!
