- Fingers must be able to fit in the holes comfortably. - Start with your thumb in the bottom hole, make sure you can rotate it in the hole - Then place your two middle fingers (middle finger and ring finger) in the top two holes - Start with a 9 pound ball and change weight amount from there (depending if it is too light or too heavy) - You want to be able to swing the ball back and forth comfortably (middle finger)(ring finger) (thumb)
Start with heels at the foul line with your back to the bowling pins - Walk 4 ½ steps forward and turn around to face the bowling pins. This is where you will start bowling every time - Move ball out in front of your body around your waist -- Lower the ball on the right side of your body -- Walk forward while moving the ball back. Swing your arm and release the ball once you are near the foul line
- Don’t bowl at the same time as the person on either side of you - Keep hands away from ball return - Wait for the ball to stop moving before picking it up - Don’t cross the foul line (the big black line at the start of the lane) because the lanes are oily and you could slip
