Assumptions Do not pre-pack if InSPACE or PFMI are scheduled for operations increment 12 or increment 13. Payload ops will require MSG facility pre-pack items. You can pre-pack before launch of ULF1.1 with the understanding that a launch scrub may require reinstallation of pre-pack hardware. All seals have been replaced.

2.036 MSG Work Volume Leak Test The main objective of the test is to verify MSG’s sealed environment (level of containment). This test is to be performed after all hardware exchanges, seal replacements, and a seal removal have been completed. The test will be accomplished by. –Sealing off the work volume using new flapper bank covers, new MSG Filtercaps, and Kapton™ tape. –Powering AIR CIRC – ON and generating a negative pressure in the 8-10 mbar range. –Powering AIR CIRC – OFF and waiting approx 30 minutes checking for an acceptable pressure decay. Note the new Flapper Bank Covers (3) designed specifically for the MSG WV Leak test. New MSG Filtercaps are used along with Kapton™ tape over the AL air return to ensure no air flow out through the filters or AL inlet.
