ICE on injury of statistics An international activity sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Meetings held annually since May Proceedings and past presentations are available at: Recent presentations included on the Global Burden of Diseases – Injury website.

Goals of the ICE To provide a forum for international exchange and collaboration among injury researchers who develop and promote international standards in injury data collection and analysis. To produce products of the highest quality to facilitate the comparability and improved quality of injury data.

Mission and vision Mission: To improve international comparability and quality of injury data. The ultimate aim is to provide the data needed to better assess the causes and consequences of injury, differences in injury occurrence over time and place, and the most effective means of prevention and control. Vision: There will be injury statistics, which are internationally comparable and useful for injury prevention and control
