National Hydrological and Meteorological Service The Hydrological and Meteorological Service conduct direct protection of a discrete area of the country. The basic duties HMS are:  analysis the current state of the atmosphere and hydrosphere,  prepare and disseminate bulletins, messages and forecasts,  collaborating in the area of protection with state administration, crisis intervention structures, the media and other recipients (both at the central and at the local levels),  collaborating with analogous foreign offices in the area of forecast and warning transmission in extreme situations, as well as data exchange.
