Alerts

Click continue when you are ready for a guided tour. Continue

When you log on, your primary work area will default to “Exceptions” with Current Pay Period and All Home selected in the menu. Here, you can take a closer look at the summary view of timecard exceptions and manage the exceptions. You can make this work area larger by clicking the sizing button in the right hand corner.

Let’s return to the home screen by clicking on the sizing button again.

Approving and modifying leave requests can begin from the secondary work area. We will look at the Request Manager functionality in another presentation. Continue

To view all employees timecards, select QuickFind in the secondary work area.

You can search employees by Name or ID number. * and % are wildcard characters. To display a list of all of your employees, enter * or % the search field and click find or hit enter.

To select all employees, click on an employee’s name, use Ctrl + a on your keyboard, or hold the Ctrl button and select the employees you would like to view with your mouse.

To view the selected employees timecards, click on Timecard.

Here you will be able to view the employees’ timecards. More information about the navigation within the Timecard screen will follow in a later presentation.

To return to the Exceptions work area, click the refresh icon.

Alerts signal you to pending time off requests (calendar icon) and exceptions on employees’ timecards (exclamation mark). Click on the icon with the exclamation mark.

This alert indicates which employees have exceptions in the current pay period. In a later session we will show you how to resolve the exceptions.

This concludes “General Navigation of the Time and Attendance System”.
