Interests, Major(s), & Plans Interests: Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Dell XPS T500 Computer (My wife would say that I am a Game Junkie.) Major(s): History Secondary Education My goal is to teach history at a high school in the Quad-Cities area.
Why am I attending SAU? 1. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and history is my passion. 2. Several members of my wife’s family are SAU alumni. 3. I believe that SAU provides opportunities which are not provided by other universities in the Quad-Cities area.
Why am I like I am? 1. I enlisted in the U.S. Army and volunteered for the Airborne Infantry at age seventeen. 2. I survived twenty years in the Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class and serving as a Cavalry Troop First Sergeant. 3. If you have ever known someone who was in the military for a protracted period of time, the answer to the question should be evident.
