Waivers – HOME formula grants Section 290 of the HOME statute authorizes HUD to suspend certain HOME statutory requirements for funds used to address damage in area which the President declares a major disaster under title IV of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief & Emergency Assistance Act –Most waivers given geared to immediate needs –No match for expenditures in FY 2006 & FY 2007 –No maximum per-unit subsidy
