Remaking a scene!

Sam Mendes directed the movie Skyfall and the newest James Bond movie, Spectre. As well as many other films such as: American Beauty and Revolutionary Road. Mendes was born on the 1 st of August in He went to Cambridge University- to later on join the Chichester Festival theatre. He won a critics circle award for the best new comer. From his film, ‘The Cherry Orchard.’ And then later on- Mendes joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Our experience of remaking the scene- was a great experience because we were able to learn from our mistakes. The Disadvantages were that: We could have used more camera angles throughout the scene. There was noise in the background- even though we were aware of it. It still became a problem when it came to editing it. Another problem was getting the clips to transition nicely between shots. And our green screen wasn’t as successful as we hoped. Didn’t work around the corners of the scene too well.

The Advantages were that: We finished all the filming in the first session. We were able to have the TV studio for a longer than we liked, so we could film as much as we wanted. Nick was able to get an addition to the group, Caio to play the role of Doctor Hall. Caio was able to come in during the time we were filming and time wise- it wasn’t a problem. We were able to have a green screen provided for us to help set the scene. We got on to the next stage of editing, pretty quickly.
