1 CHRONICLES 7:13-14 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land, or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn over from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

ALL NATIONS UNDER GOD: THE FINAL GOAL A conversation between Father and Son PSALM 2: 1-3: What the kings think: Why do nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against His anointed One. “Let us break their chains”, they say, “and throw off their fetters.”

Psalm 2: 4-6: How God sees it. The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. Then He rebukes them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath, saying, “I have installed my King on Zion, My holy hill.”

Psalm 2: 6-9: What God told the Son I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: He said to me, “You are My Son; today I have become your Father. Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.

Psalm 2: 10-12: God’s word to the kings Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rules of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry and you will be destroyed in your way, for His wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

ALL NATIONS UNDER GOD: THE END OF MANKIND HISTORY Revelation 5:9-10 And they sang a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

ALL NATIONS UNDER GOD: THE END OF MANKIND HISTORY Revelation 7:9-10 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

ALL NATIONS UNDER GOD: THE END OF MANKIND HISTORY Revelation 15:3-4 “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

IN BETWEEN Philipians 2: 5-11 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death __ even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

THE CHURCH IN THE MEANTIME: GOD’S AGENT TO BRING THE KINGDOM DOWN TO EARTH JESUS INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN:  PRAY THAT THE KINGDOM WILL COME  PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS  PARTNER WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

PRAY 1. PRAY THAT THE KINGDOM WILL COME TO EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN Mat. 6: 9-11 “This then is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

2. PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS JESUS INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT PREACHING THE GOSPEL:  Matthew 28:18-20  Mark 16:15  Luke 24:  John 20:21-25

PREACH 2. PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM TO THE WHOLE WORLD Mat. 28:18-20 The Great Commission: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

2. PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM TO THE WHOLE WORLD Mark. 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM TO THE WHOLE WORLD Luke 24:46-49 “He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what My Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

2. PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM TO THE WHOLE WORLD John 20:21-22 Again Jesus said: “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

3. PARTNER WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

HOW TO PRAY?  PRAY THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL COME  PRAY THAT OUR CHURCH AND EACH ONE OF US WILL PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM TO THE PEOPLE OF THE NATIONS THAT HE SENDS US TO AND WHO LIVE IN HOUSTON  PRAY THAT HE WILL PREPARE US AS A CHURCH TO SEND MISSIONARIES AND TEAMS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL IN OTHER NATIONS OF THE EARTH  PRAY THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL EMPOWER US TO BE POWERFUL WITNESSES OF JESUS CHRIST.
