Ensuring effective results based approach in both planning and delivery as well as reporting process Baselines and appropriate monitoring and evaluation framework Creating/sustaining synergies with other clusters /sub clusters Ownership and leadership by main stakeholders particularly AUC and RECs Effective inter-cluster communication and information sharing Joint Resource mobilization efforts for implementation of RIO+20 outcomes, cluster business plan, joint activities CHALLENGES

Develop UN Regional Development Assistance Framework (UN/RDAF) and derive clusters’ Business Plans on the (UN/RDAF) Joint Programming beyond Joint Programme eg on Green Economy (GE) etc Contributions from UN Agencies to RCM Secretariat budget on yearly basis KEY MESSAGES

Finalize a results oriented cluster business plan 2013 – 2015 in line with Rio+20 outcomes as well as with the new emerging issues in the continent Finalize and implement Cluster Annual Work Plan 2013 together with M&E framework based on the RCM-Africa guidance Develop Resource Mobilization Strategy and action plan Documentation and dissemination of lessons learned WAY FORWARD
