System Dynamics and Industrial Management – Hospital transportation exercise

Task First, gather needed population age group data for the model (from 1980 to 2040) from StatFIN (Statistics Finland). Arrange the data in prober order. Use GET XLS DATA function to import the data to the model.

Questions Try to figure out the idea of the model (shortly). What is the most expensive transport mode? – How does it develop during the simulation run? – What are the main factors for such development? – Which user group uses it the most? How could transportation costs be lowered? What do you think about the C0 2 level of the whole transportation? Is the level too high?

Figures Draw a figure, which includes costs of all different transport modes of patients. Draw a figure, which includes €/patients and €/inhabitants. Can you explain the difference in the development of these figures?
