Web. 25 Mar Subject: How to did Galileo influence the industrial revolution Keywords: inventions, great scientist Abstracts: Galileo Galilei (Italian pronunciation: 15 February 1564 – 8 January 1642) was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the Scientific Revolution. His achievements include improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations, and support for Copernicanism. Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy," the "father of modern physics," the "father of science," and "the Father of Modern Science." Stephen Hawking says, "Galileo, perhaps more than any other single person, was responsible for the birth of modern science." I agree with the fact that Stephen Hawking said that Galileo was responsible for the birth of modern science and that he has been called the father of modern observational astronomy.

Web. 14 Apr Subject: How to did Galileo influence the industrial revolution Keywords: Discoveries, Science Abstracts:Galileo was born in Pisa, Tuscany, on February 15, 1564, the oldest son of Vincenzo Galilei, a musician who made important contributions to the theory and practice of music and who may have performed some experiments with Galileo in on the relationship between pitch and the tension of strings. The family moved to Florence in the early 1570s, where the Galilei family had lived for generations. In his middle teens Galileo attended the monastery school at Vallombrosa, near Florence, and then in 1581 matriculated at the University of Pisa, where he was to study medicine. However, he became enamoured with mathematics and decided to make the mathematical subjects and philosophy his profession, against the protests of his father. Galileo then began to prepare himself to teach Aristotelian philosophy and mathematics, and several of his lectures have survived. Galileo always wanted to prove things that he liked. He also used to test alot with gravity and geometric figures and he also combinated some experiments with gravity.

Web. 25 Mar Subject: How to did Galileo influence the industrial revolution Keywords: modern science, inventing Abstract:Galileo made original contributions to the science of motion through an innovative combination of experiment and mathematics. More typical of science at the time were the qualitative studies of William Gilbert on magnetism and electricity. Galileo used to test alot with gravity and geometric figures and he also combinated some experiments with gravity.
